Flash Drive Recovery Specialists

USB and Flash Drive Recover Specialists Flash Media Recovery Flash memory cards, USB sticks, discs, and other digital storage devices are the new generation of portable data storage for family pictures, documents, videos, homework, music and so much more. However, they too can fail and those images can be "lost" or not useable. If you are having problems with your flash media, don't panic. Your lost pictures, videos, documents and files are often recoverable. But be careful. Continued attempts to use it, or improper use of some recovery software may destroy any chance at successful recovery. Professional data recovery services are your best chance for retrieving those lost files from your flash and digital media. Do not attempt to format, or delete or write any additional files or pictures to the media.

For help now - Contact us at 678-367-4372 or 866-961-4142 or use the on-line Quote Request Form.
Package it carefully and send it to Choice Data Recovery via Fed-Ex, UPS, DHL. Do NOT send via US Mail. Flash media can be damaged by the e-beam scan systems used by USPS.

We can recover data from all brands and formats of flash media

  • Flash memory cards, Compactflash, SmartMedia, SD, XD, MiniSD and others
  • Camera cards and memory sticks
  • USB Flash drive
  • DVD-R, DVD-DL CD-R data discs
Common causes of Data Loss or failures:
  • Accidental deletion or format
  • Corrupted or unreadable data
  • Power loss, spike or surge
  • Premature disconnection from port or device
  • Rapid power cycling (on, off, on, off)
  • Internal component defect or failure

How long does it take ?

Most flash recoveries are completed within two or three business days from our receipt of your media and agreement. Some difficult recoveries can take 3 to 5 business days. We'll image any recovered files onto CD or DVD disc and return to you via standard delivery - after receipt of payment, of course.

What is the success rate ?

Historically, images from over 90% of cards are recovered if the data still exists. Successful recovery can be dependent on what caused the initial data loss, and what was done next. Occasionally, deleted files or formatted memory cards cannot be recovered from certain camera formats. Some cameras (ex. Fuji, Olympus and Sony) may use a full zeroing "wipe" format that deletes and overwrites the data completely, and therefore cannot be recovered.

How much does the service cost ?

Recovery Pricing is based on the type and total capacity of the flash media. Recovery prices start at $75.00, which includes standard return shipping and one CD data disc. Complete the Quote Request Form and send to us for options and specific costs for your project. By submitting the request form to us, you agree to a free flash media evaluation and our Terms and Conditions. Specific price quote confirmation and recovery agreement will be sent to you via e-mail or FAX.
